If you need scaffolding tubes to make the foundation extra solid, you can easily add these when you pour the concrete. On this foundation you place the loose gabions and connect them with the enclosed C-rings to create one big gabions wall. Apply spacers in the gabions on regular intervals. Complete the process by filling the gabions with stones and closing the top. Place the gabion stones layer by layer in the gabion wall. Start with the biggest stones for a marvellous result.

If you look at the design, you’ll notice that gabions resemble baskets. The metal wires of the frame are thick, solid and maintenance free. When filling the gabions with stones, take care to do this by placing spacers every twelve inches, both horizontally and vertically. This will prevent the gabions (or baskets) from bulging or bending. Do you prefer gabions with a round design to bring more variation in your garden architecture? These round shapes will combine perfectly with straight lines of sight for a playful whole. By choosing a gabion that is shaped like a half circle, you can create an intimate and secluded place to relax with your family.
